Sopra Steria has been ranked among the leaders in environmental performance by Statista for the Financial Times.
The Group ranks 7th out of 400 companies and 1st among French companies for the reduction of emissions intensity between 2015 and 2020.
The environmental programme initiated nearly 10 years ago is bearing fruit with excellent performances achieved each year, enabling the Group to rank among the leaders in action against climate change.
In 2020, Sopra Steria announced its objective of achieving "zero net emissions" by 2028. This objective is supported by a programme focused on the constant optimisation of resource consumption, the continuous reduction of greenhouse gases and the offsetting of unavoided emissions by investing in carbon capture projects, in accordance with the UN's “Climate Neutral Now” programme.
