Sopra Steria, one of the European leaders in consulting, digital services and software publishing, receives the « Platinum » medal from EcoVadis. This award, the assessment platform’s highest level of recognition, rewards the Group for its overall performance in corporate responsibility.
In 2019, Sopra Steria was already ranked amongst the most responsible companies, at the advanced “Gold” level with a score higher than 66/100. This year, for the second consecutive year, the Group appears in the « Top 1% » of the most successful companies in corporate responsibility, obtaining a score of 74/100 and the « Platinum » level that Ecovadis introduced for the first time in 2020.
Engaged with the UN Global Compact, Sopra Steria has for many years pursued a policy of social, environmental, societal and ethical responsibility for a more sustainable world, and has implemented a programme of actions to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions, limit the environmental impact of its activities and help its customers to reduce their environmental footprints.

Ecovadis is one of the reference platforms in France and in the world for the evaluation of corporate social responsibility. Its evaluation methodology is based on international standards and is guided by a scientific committee composed of experts in corporate social responsibility and supply chain, in order to ensure that its evaluations are independent and reliable.
The new EcoVadis standards for 2020 are as follows:
- Platinum (new): top 1% of the highest rated companies (overall score ≥73)
- Gold: top 5% (unchanged) of the highest rated companies (overall score ≥66)
- Silver: top 25% (vs. 30% in 2019) of the highest rated companies (overall score ≥54)
- Bronze: top 50% (vs. 65% in 2019) of the highest rated companies (overall score ≥45)
